I have\nfound in my journey, one of the most important aspects to challenge, is our\ninner chatter that holds us back from what we want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we are faced with stressful situations, we tend to\nhave negative thoughts come up. This \u201clittle voice\u201d inside can hold us back\nsometimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have you ever been in a situation where you thought, \u201cI\ncan\u2019t do this. I don\u2019t know how. This is too hard. &nbsp;I\u2019m not good enough.\nWhat makes you think you can do that? What are you thinking? I have never been\nable to do this, so what makes me think I can do it now? I don\u2019t want to make\nany mistakes. &nbsp;I\u2019m too tired. Why would anyone want to listen to me? I\ndon\u2019t understand\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I would like to share three unique<a href=\"https:\/\/charleneday.com\/mindset-breakthrough-coaching\/\"> techniques <\/a>I use when my little voice gets in my way. The great thing is that these don\u2019t require any medications, psychologists, psychiatrists or therapists.&nbsp; I learned these from Blair Singer, and they work for me. &nbsp;Try them! See if they will work for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The Stop Technique<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first one is my favorite as it is so simple and easy to\nremember in every situation. For instance, when I was asked to write an article\nin 25 minutes, my little voice said, \u201cNo way! I know it takes a lot longer than\nthat in my experience.\u201d&nbsp; So, I said \u201cStop! Thank you for sharing but I am\ngoing for it.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, your first technique is simply to say \u201cStop\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Deal with Adversity Technique <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s face it. Things don\u2019t always go as we want them to.\nWhen this happens, our self talk can get pretty loud.&nbsp; First, don\u2019t take\nthe things personally and let it go. Next make sure you keep whatever just\nhappened in perspective.&nbsp; Don\u2019t make it global; meaning, don\u2019t say things\nlike, \u201cThis always happens to me\u201d or \u201cWhy does this always have to happen to\nme\u201d? Remind yourself that each incident is separate and isolated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This one takes practice but with repetition, it can be a\nlife saver and quiet that chatter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Celebrating Wins<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When something good happens in your life, take one of your\nhands and make a fist and physically pull your hand back towards you body as\nyou say,\u201dYes\u201d.&nbsp; Then say, \u201cI deserve this success and this great energy\nwill continue throughout the week to come\u201d. You can also use this action to\nlook at all the good things in your life and give your attention to them as you\ndo this action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This technique will orientate you to notice when you are\nsuccessful and congratulate yourself more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I trust that you will find these helpful and that in your\nnext stressful situation, you remember that there are some techniques that can\nbring you back into the present moment and into a state of resourcefulness.\n&nbsp;Life is meant to be lived in a state of joy and these techniques can help\nus get back to a joyful state.
